We are taking another BIG land cruise again this year. Our 11th Anniversary will be celebrated in the Florida panhandle at three state parks there...St. George Island, St. Joseph Peninsula and Topsail Hill Preserve. All are right on the Gulf of Mexico with white, powdered sugar sands. From there, we are heading to The Big Easy...New Orleans. We thought seeing fireworks from the Mississippi River would be both fun and amazing. After that, on to what looks like a truly blissful, sweet place, Natchitoches, LA (pronounced NACK-I-TISH). Check out their webpage http://www.natchitoches.net/index.php We didn't know about it ahead of time, but we needed a place that was a halfway mark between New Orleans and The Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, AR. That's just SO FAR....what happens after the diamond mine depends on what we FIND in the diamond mine! We can't wait to start! We have a way to go yet...but we're busy planning!
