Hey! Another year has passed and it's once again sweet, super, summer. So... being the daredevils that we are.... we decided to go to the Florida Keys during hurricane season! Hopefully, Colin will be the first, last, only storm heading our way and will clear out long before we take off for our trip.
So, I guess you're wondering.... WHERE in the Keys we are heading.....
We are going to start at Curry Hammock State Park. We are staying in a site that overlooks water.

Ten days after that, we move north to Long Key State Park. This is our campsite for the ten days following our time at Curry Hammock.......

We will be there for another ten days.... and then we will move on to John Pennekamp State Park at the very top of the Keys for another 10 days. The views from the RV aren't as spectacular at this camp... but it is a lovely one. We stayed here back when we were first married and we went in a TENT. Actually, this campground is the reason we now have an RV. A urine accident (we will tell you about that later on!) ruined the tent....and we decided we're better at GLAMPING than we are at camping. So, there you have it. Adventure 2016 will commence on June 15th. In addition to the places we are camping, we will be visiting the surrounding state parks and exploring what they have to offer.... as well as see a few of the more interesting, colorful and culinary spaces of Key West. We are excited to go to a dessert restaurant called "Better Than Sex" for our anniversary. There will be lots to share with you along the way. We are excited to hit the road and share our adventures with you! Join us, won't you?
