Ok, Rudy had a watery left eye...which got worse this morning...and I didn't want it to be serious, so we brought him to our old vet, Brewster Veterinary Hospital. We saw Dr. Karen Hickey...she was SOOOOOOOOOOOO nice. She checked out the eye and gave him an antibiotic ointment to apply to the eye 3-4 times a day, till gone. Nothing serious. Could be an allergy or mild infection. Rudy is a trooper. Didn't make a fuss at all, and was very cooperative with the vet. They all loved him there...told him how handsome he was! The only thing that freaked him out was the giant macaw in the office that said "hello" as soon as Rudy sat beside him in the waiting room. That was very unexpected to him, to say the least. The bird tried everything to get Rudy to interact with him, but Rudy just saw a big, scary birdie. We ended up moving to the other side of the waiting room. Before long, we were asked to step on the scale. He's a healthy 14 pounds. Rudy sends out a special message to his brother, Misty... you're not heavy, your my brother! I'm not on a diet, bro... neither should you be!
