Sebastain Inlet....The Last Full Day

Well, today was our "State Park Museum Tour Day" but....it was raining all day.  I don't mean drizzle.  I mean downpour.  The husband and the cat napped all day.  I took advantage of the weather to start on my planning for next school year.  Being a travel blogger isn't my main job.  Biology teacher extraordinaire is.  Well, that's how I like to think of it anyway.  The park was oddly quiet today.  So quiet that the only noises we heard all day were raindrops on the roof, birdy feet prancing on the roof, wind whistling about, and snoring cats and husbands.  Where are Simon and Garfunkel when you need them?  The exciting part was getting some birds and squirrels to the picnic table for the cat to look at.  It worked nicely...see?

Needless to say, we didn't do a lot of investigating today.  Tomorrow before we leave, we are going to go up to the ranger station/museum and maybe down the road to the affiliated treasure museum.

I will say, the approaching storm gave us a majestically colored and beautiful sunset the night before.  It was truly breath taking.

It is now time to undo the mess made from making dinner.  A friend of mine reminded me tonight, I don't go camping....I go GLAMPING....because when we travel, we make camping GLAMOROUS DAH-LING!  I'll send more from the road.  Our trip from here to Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park is a 2 hour drive, so I'll have plenty of time to finish up our journey here.  Have a great day!
