The oldest bar in Hot Springs and Arkansas is the Ohio Club (circa 1905) It's massive mahogony bar back is the original and it is amazing. Al Capone once dined, gambled and drank there...there were even shots fired into the ceiling. Speaking of the ceiling, it was wired so bookies could get news and results before anyone else could. It was last raided in 1968...since then it's been on the up and up... a regular establishment for drinks and bar fare. The hamburgers we had were said to be "The best in Arkansas"....hand made from scratch. The onion rings were exquisite. I know...not a usual word to describe onion rings, but trust me, here, it fits. They were so good, even Vincent, who isn't fond of them, LOVED them....
